The Hard Truth

October 5, 2025 Leave a Comment

You have been given a precious, priceless gift, the gift of life. What are you doing with it?

The hard truth is that if you wait until you feel better to start living, you might be waiting forever.

Go live your life. Do it sad. Do it anxious. Do it uncertain. Because healing doesn’t always come before the experience. Sometimes, the experience is what heals you.

This truth is a reminder that life does not wait for the perfect moment. Often we believe we must first feel whole, confident, or healed before stepping into the fullness of living.

But the reality is that waiting for the “right” feeling can turn into waiting forever. Life is not meant to be postponed until conditions feel ideal.

It is meant to be lived right here and right now, even with sadness in your chest, even with anxiety in your breath, even with uncertainty in your steps.

The act of showing up, trying, moving forward despite how heavy or shaky you feel, becomes the very process that opens the door to healing.

Sometimes it is the experience itself—the laughter you stumble into, the connection you create, the risks you take—that stitches your wounds more gently than isolation ever could.

Choosing to live, even while carrying the weight of what hurts, is one of the most courageous ways of honoring yourself.

Healing may not always come first, but it often follows when you dare to live anyway.
