This online 6-week course, offered only once a year, delves deep into how to bring the wisdom of mindfulness into our everyday life, a life not defined by your past, your fears, or limiting beliefs that can get you stuck in a cycle of rumination and habitual patterns which inevitably lead to anxiety, depression and even over-whelmment.
In this Advanced Course, Monica incorporates different modalities, synthesizes them and brings them together to achieve the best outcomes. Monica integrates brain science and Mindfulness to raise awareness of one’s experience, restructure the architecture of the brain through neuro-plasticity, develop habits of mind to handle stressors, and bring joy and vibrancy into one’s life.
This course builds up on the mindfulness tools learned in Level 1 and 2. However, it can also be taken as a first experience in mindfulness, especially if you are already a meditator.
You will learn how to access your own inner resources so you can meet your challenges with equanimity and confidence. You will learn to embrace and befriend your most conflicting emotions and use them as beacons in your journey to be able to see your life with clarity, courage and strength. This course teaches strategies to improve your relationships, to respond rather than react to conflict, and to develop a deep sense of self-worth and self-reliance that does not depend on others.
This Advanced Course will give you the tools to identify your limiting beliefs, to let go of disappointments, anger and past resentments, and be able to bring forgiveness and bring peace into your experience. It will guide you on how to work skillfully with thoughts and reactivity as well as on how to make wiser life choices, and bring a sense of ease and passion to your life.
You will use somatic practices to go within directly and with curiosity, and provide care where you most need it, to see and deeply experience the other, and to be present for those who need you the most. Using very simple, subtle yet powerful practices you will learn to gently explore the vast world inside of you. Approaching yourself in a gentle way, without reactivity, your challenging emotions naturally arise from a mysterious core of wisdom that guides you into clarity and openness. You will be able to open up to a fulfilling engagement with the world.
