Our health is our best wealth, I have long agreed with this wisdom by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Working as a nurse in health and wellness, I have seen the importance of bringing awareness to all who want to protect their health first hand. I believe that yoga is a wonderful component of this very thinking.
After practicing yoga for many years myself and seeing the benefits it can bring to every age, body type and fitness level, I felt compelled to complete the training necessary to share this incredible gift of inner peace for mind body and spirit with others.
I was inspired by my incredible instructors through the deeper studies of meditation and yoga and learned how to take yoga beyond the physical practice.
For many of us, life runs at a fast pace so taking the time to slow down and really become aware of how to connect our breath with our body movement has made a huge difference in my life, both on and off the mat.
I learned that when we pay attention to our breath, we can allow the stresses of life to melt away and gentle peace to settle in so we can, in turn, offer our best authentic self to the world.
I am grateful to have these tools available to me so that I can share this remarkable gift of peace.
It is for this reason that I am offering free yoga classes for everyone who would like to attend from the comfort of your home.
What is Yoga?
Yoga is an art, a science and a philosophy. It touches our life at every level, physical, mental, and spiritual. It is a practical method for making one’s life purposeful, useful and noble. It enables every part of the human system to become attuned to its essence, the conscious seer within ~ Yogi B.K.S. Iyengar
The Sanskrit root yuj means to “yoke,” “bind,” or “join together.” It also indicates “union” or “Oneness.” Ultimately, it is the means by which we realize that there is no separation between anyone or anything. Everything is One.
At the deepest spiritual level, yoga allows us to reveal the Self, the True Essence of our Being.
Through Yoga we can perceive and experience the world within and around us, to touch the divine joy of all creation, and then to share that nectar of divine wealth and happiness with his fellow beings ~Yogi B.K.S. Iyengar

Classes I’m Offering
Yin Yoga: Yin is a passive yoga practice that deeply nourishes the connective tissues (joints, ligaments, fascia). Poses are held for several minutes to gently open and rehabilitate the body that will leave you feeling euphoric ~ 60 minutes
Sun Salutation – Vinyasa Flow keeps you moving, linking breath with sequences of sun salutes and other postures creating a beautifully yoga energy experience ~ 45 minutes
Chair Yoga ~ Gentle Yoga: Are traditional workouts too difficult for you? Are you overwhelmed at the thought of a yoga class? Try Chair Yoga to gently build stamina and feel the energizing flow of movement without impact on injuries. The healing movements of this class will also help build more flexibility and tone muscles all while being comfortably seated.
Restorative Yoga ~ Restorative yoga is beneficial to balance a more active practice or decompress after a stressful day. We use props and postures held for longer periods of time to initiate deep relaxation of the body, mind and spirit.
